Accommodation
- Basic accommodation on a sports hall floor is available at £3 per person per night. Bring a sleeping bag and mat!

- We’d love you to join us for the whole weekend but if that’s not possible then we have a limited number of Saturday or Sunday tickets available for £10 each.

Group bookings
Group bookings for Shared Planet 2007 must be made online. The system is easy to use, saves paper and P&P staff time, will speed up the registration process at the event and enables you to book your workshops in advance. It needs one person to be the booking organiser.
To make a group booking, the booking organiser should:
- Find out how many people want to attend and collect their money. Before 26 October it’s £14.50 each (plus £3 per night for accommodation).
- Go to peopleandplanet.org/sharedplanet and click on Book Now. You will need to sign in, fill in your personal details and choose the “I want to organise a group booking” option.
- Enter the number of people and their accommodation needs.
- Pay! Either straight away online by credit/debit card or you can send us a cheque. Once we’ve received payment, your booking is confirmed.
- Before the event, each member of your group needs to attach themselves to your booking and choose which workshops they want to attend. They do this by following the same Book Now link but choosing the “I am part of a group booking” option.
- Come to the event! Please note that as long as we have all the names, the booking organiser does not need to be at registration when people in their group arrive — so people could arrive at different times.
FAQs
Why should I check my email regularly?
Because when people attach themselves to your booking you will get an email asking you to confirm that they are in deed part of the booking. Only when you have confirmed people will they be able to sign up for workshops.
What if someone drops out?
No problem. Someone else can take their place, just make sure the new person is attached to your booking. If you need to remove someone from your booking, just give us a call. Unfortunately we can’t give any refunds.
What if people don’t register themselves before the event?
There is a space to write ‘notes’ in your booking page of the website, this is where you can list the additional people who havn’t signed themselves in. We will have a copy of your notes on registration so we’ll know who you’ve said is part of your group.
You can sign in whenever you like to change the notes on your booking.
Please encourage people to register in advance. This will speed things up at registration and ensure that they don’t miss out on the workshops they want to attend.
